Preventative Care

Efficient preventative care is key to having a healthy smile. Consistent checkups will allow our team to diagnose oral cancer, gum disease, and tooth decay before they spread and become a problem.

What is a Periodontist? A Periodontist is a Dental Specialist who completed an additional three years of extensive advanced training, in the treatment of periodontal disease. This Specialty of Dentistry, helps aid in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease, and in the placement of dental implants. Periodontists are experts in the treatment of all forms of periodontal disease including gingivitis, periodontitis, and gingival recession.

Invisalign

Our office is happy to offer Invisalign as an alternate form of Orthodontics. The latest in technology has allowed for digital impressions by way of a digital scanner called an Itero, allowing us the ability to (digitally) scan your mouth in minutes, and submit your personal assessment to Invisalign directly!

Patient Information

New Patients

We are so thankful that you chose our office, and look forward to showing you just how exciting taking care of your oral health can be! We ask that you please bring the New Patient Forms that were emailed to you, completed, along with your dental insurance information, to your appointment. If you were unable to complete the New Patient Forms, if you could arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time, to complete in the office, it would be greatly appreciated. Please be advised, our office reserves approximately 90 minutes for all New Patient Appointments. This initial appointment enables us the dedicated time needed, to compile your digital dental record, complete a thorough examination, update any necessary radiographs, and perform a dental cleaning (unless otherwise discussed with the hygienist). This appointment also allows time for you to get to know us, as a Dental Team, and you as our Patient!

Missed Appointment Policy

We understand that things arise that are out of our control, and we are certainly understanding to those situations. We do ask as a courtesy, that if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment with ANY of our Providers (hygienists or Doctors), that you please notify the office within 24 business hours, to prevent a Missed appointment charge ($50/per hour reserved). If you have any further questions, feel free to call the office to discuss further.

Insurance Policy

We understand the benefits of having dental insurance, and our office is certainly glad to help maximize and educate in the use of those benefits. We are happy to accept and file most dental insurance carriers, however, we are considered an "in-network" provider with the following:

~Ameritas

~Delta Dental PPO/Premier

~MetLife

For those not listed above, we will be happy to take care of submitting and accepting the assignment of benefits as a courtesy to you. Our Team reviews all necessary treatment plans and estimated co-insurance due from the patient, before services are rendered, so any questions can be answered, and clarifications made. Many of our "out of network" patients do not even notice a difference when coming to see us!

Please note: Dr. Brian West (Periodontist) is an out of network provider with ALL dental benefit carriers, therefore, charges for his services are due to at the time of service. Our office is be more than happy to submit to your insurance, and have the insurance company reimburse you directly.
